Fiber Engineering and Design
Our streamlined engineering process starts with a Field Survey and by carefully collecting the necessary data (Plats, right of way maps, utilities records, as-built, future projects). An extensive Route Analysis is followed by accurate Base Mapping to obtain a quality project that can be realized efficiently and cost-effective while using the latest technology.
Once the Field Work, Base Mapping and Utilities have been completed, KMV Fibertelecom, INC goes over to engineering detailing. This process allows our team to have a full understanding of every aspect of the project and includes:
- Materials, labor and incidental materials required to perform ISP (Inside Plant) and OSP (Outside Plant) design
- Premium Design and drafting to place quality ISP and OSP facilities using AutoCAD.
- Identification of all materials (BOM, Bill of Material) including Incidental materials, Cable and Conduit Types and Vault types for each project (includes existing facilities).
- Standard Permit Drawings, traffic control details (if applicable), Right of Ways and easements.
During the engineering process, KMV Fibertelecom, INC applies premium quality control engineering which strictly complies with Local, state and Federal Requirements (Whichever is most stringent). Policies and procedures are rigorously followed by the whole engineering team in order to deliver a quality service that is ready for the permitting department.
